How Nokia N78 Is More Intelligent Than Samsung G600

Samsung G600 was launched in July 2007 with some excellent features like 5MP camera and good media player. After than Nokia too launched a few N series phones like Nokia N96, Nokia N95 8GB and others which won accolades all over. This February 2008 they have added another model in their kitty, Nokia N78 which outsmarts Samsung G600.

This is true that Samsung G600 is a 2G phone and has no competition with Nokia N series phones. This article highlights how Nokia N78 in spite of having a low MP camera, 3.15 MP camera has other excellent features to make it a complete gadget for everyone. Lets first find out the features of Nokia N78 and then see where G600 lacks. If Samsung would have taken a little care to introduce some features in this phone it could have been a desirable phone.

Nokia N78 is a quad band phone which has 3G HSDPA support for high speed download and upload and Wi-Fi internet connectivity. The 102 g weight phone with 2.4 inches of TFT 16M color screen has a 3.15 MP camera of Carl Zeiss lens with flash, auto focus and video recording (VGA 15fps). There is a secondary video call camera.

The phone book has literally unlimited entries and the internal memory of 70MB and card slot for memory extension. You have EDGE, GPRS, HSCSD and Wi-Fi. Nokia N78 is equipped with Bluetooth and USB port. The media player is quite powerful to play files like MP3, MP4, eAAC+, AAC, and WMA files. You have A- GPS, document viewer, Stereo FM radio, Voice command/dial, FM transmitter, photo and video editor and talk time of 4 ½ hours.

Samsung G600 is also a very good creation by Samsung with some wonderful features like 55 internal MB, card slot, EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth, USB port, WAP browser, document viewer, 5 MP camera with image stabilizer, auto focus, stereo FM radio, built in hands free, TV out and powerful media player. But the phone lacks in Wi-Fi technology, no 3G, voice command, GPS receiver and has a talk time of 3 hours only. If the manufacturer could have taken care of these features in G600, it could have been equivalent to Nokia N78.
